Project based Structure Financing/Invoice Financing

What is Invoice Factoring?

Invoice financing also known as accounts receivables financing allows companies to borrow money against their unpaid invoices. This financing method caters for immediate funds that allow companies to improve their working capital, pay employees, suppliers and other expenses on time rather than waiting until their customers paid their invoices in full. Companies (borrower) pay a percentage of the invoice amount to the lender as a fee for borrowing the money. Invoice financing is a better approach to manage company’s cashflow with customers being given a longer credit term as well as difficulties in obtaining other types of loan facilities.

Advantages:
  • Fast approval in 3 working days (Upon receipt of requested complete documentation)
  • Confidentiality whereby customers will not be informed of the financial arrangement
  • Shorter and faster turnaround time to boost working capital injection
  • Enjoy payment discounts when purchasing bulk inventory from suppliers to improve profit margin and credit worthiness
Disadvantages:
  • Invoice financing is only applicable to creditworthy (good pay master) customers ie. Companies who issues invoices to big and established corporations are accepted.
  • Cost of financing can be higher
